At Stella Maris Dental, we are passionate about putting smiles on faces whilst promoting great dental health.

We are a multi-team practice; we use the services of dentists for dental implants and special interest dentists for orthodontics (braces), endodontics (root fillings) and dentures.

I’ve got a dental emergency, what should I do?

If you’re in pain, have swelling, or think you’ve broken a tooth, please contact us immediately. We prioritise emergency cases and will do our best to see you as soon as possible — often the same day. Outside of our normal hours, our voicemail will provide emergency contact instructions.

How quickly can you see me?

We offer flexible appointments and always aim to see urgent cases promptly — often the same day or within 24 hours. For routine appointments, availability can vary but we’ll always do our best to accommodate your schedule.

At your first appointment, we’ll thoroughly assess your oral health with a full mouth examination, checking your teeth, gums, and soft tissues. If needed, we’ll take digital X-rays for a clearer view and perform a routine oral cancer screening for peace of mind. We’ll also check your bite and jaw function to ensure everything is properly aligned. No rush—just a detailed check-up to understand your needs and plan the best way forward.

After your check-up, we’ll go over the findings and explain any treatment options clearly—no jargon, no surprises. You’ll get a personalised treatment plan with a transparent cost breakdown, giving you all the information you need to make the best decision for your smile.
